PHOTO-2019-04-18-16-54-31-1.jpg

XO Lights customized a chandelier that had to light up the domes and also give general light for the prayer area below. The chandelier has a diameter of 12 meter, and is surrounded by floating panels with intricate mashribia patterns that are back lit with LED. The chandelier has the shape of a flower and carries decorative gold-plated lanterns and powerful Led downlighters.

This is one of the most prestigious mosques in the Emirate of Dubai. This mosque had to be one to amaze and stand tall in its architectural and intricate Islamic design elements. The mosque is named after sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed al Maktoum.

Besides the chandelier XO Lights also supplied the facade and interior lighting of the mosque and Islamic school.

Location:  W Hotel, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Interior Designer:  KEANE

Developer: W Hotels, Marriot Group

Client: Al Sharq Investments

Construction Company:  Fit out by ISG

SoBE bar restaurant and lounge is inspired by the darker influences found within the Haitian community of Miami city, and in particular, a look at the symbology of Haitian Voodoo with all its gnarly shapes and scaled reptiles. From the very moment you enter SoBE, KEANE wanted to create an experience that was beautiful, eerie and somewhat, otherworldly.

LA MER DUBAI - creating 'smugglers wharf' lighting

XO Lights supplied the lighting for this eclectic beachfront destination. La Mer gives the visitor a journey through the bustling backstreets of the Wharf and a possibility to relax at the beach.

The overall theme of a 1920 wharf has had a big impact on the lighting products. All of the lights are covered by a special themed look, from old buckets and sewage pipes to industrial pendants and playful string lights. There is no light that  hasn't been customized.

LAST EXIT FOOD TRUCK PARK
Customization | Lighting supply

The brief was to provide general lighting that also looked festive and that suited the theme of the Food truck park. The lighting should not look too perfect but rather as if it was put together with haphazard materials lying around. Moreover the area had to look as a transient place with the feeling of being 'on the road'.

The general lighting of the project is provided by LED projector spots of varying beam angles (20, 30 and 60 degrees) mounted on huge H profiles between the food trucks. They are carefully planned throughout the pedestrian space and are added with the led light strings.

There are certain custom made lighting pieces made exclusively for Last Exit, with an aim of up-cycling products, such as the outdoor bollards with the bike chains around it, the lighting strings with energy saving LED bulbs and lamp shades made of old number plates.
